The second installment of Brooklyn Comes Alive will be held at three Williamsburg venues – Brooklyn Bowl, The Hall At MP and Music Hall Of Williamsburg – on October 22. The lineup of over 50 artists performing 15+ sets now includes bassist Reed Mathis’ new project Electric Beethoven. Mathis’s “Classical Dance Music” band has also announced a free Phish post-show in Las Vegas.
Electric Beethoven’s Sin City debut will take place on Sunday, October 30 at TopGolf Las Vegas. TopGolf is located behind the MGM Grand, where Phish’s performance will be held. The Electric Beethoven two set performance at TopGolf Las Vegas is free-of-charge and will include a full-service menu and VIP golf-hitting bays available for purchase. Follow this link for more information on the free Vegas show.

The recently debuted ensemble of Mathis alongside drummers Jay Lane and Cochrane McMillan, keyboardist Todd Stoops and guitarist Clay Welch will be holding their first-ever performance in NYC as part of Brooklyn Comes Alive. EB joins a Brooklyn Comes Alive lineup also featuring Joe Russo (Joe Russo’s Almost Dead), Oteil Burbridge (Allman Brothers/Dead & Company), John Medeski (Medeski Martin & Wood), Jason Hann (The String Cheese Incident), Robert Walter (Greyboy Allstars/Mike Gordon), Scott Metzger (Joe Russo’s Almost Dead), Kofi Burbridge (Tedeschi Trucks Band), Alan Evans (Soulive), Neal Evans (Soulive/Lettuce), Adam Smirnoff (Lettuce), Roosevelt Collier, Michael League (Snarky Puppy), Skerik, Holly Bowling and many others. Supergroups revealed so far include a [Br]eaking [Bi]scuits performance pairing Break Science with members of the Disco Biscuits and Oteil Burbridge and his brother Kofi Burbridge leading The All Brothers Band tribute set. A full list of currently participating performers follows below.

Tickets to Brooklyn Comes Alive can grant access to all three venues hosting performances on October 22. Organizers Live For Live Music warn, “Some venues may reach capacity, so make sure you arrive at your most desired sets early to ensure a spot, although you will always be guaranteed a spot at one of the venues.” Music starts with a special brunch at 12 p.m. at The Hall At MP, while Brooklyn Bowl and the Music Hall Of Williamsburg will open in the early evening with all three locations remaining open for the rest of the night.
