Eggy began the second leg of their 2025 Here And How Tour last night at Cohoes Music Hall in Cohoes, New York. The end of the first set saw the foursome bust out the theme song to the children’s television program, Zoboomafoo.
Eggy started set one by taking “In It For The Ride” for an expansive ride before moving into “High Noon.” Next came “Wayless” encapsulating a cover of Wilco’s “I Am Trying To Break Your Heart.” A brisk roll through “Lake Monster” set up the Zoboomafoo theme bust out.
Eggy last performed the song from the PBS show starring the Kratt Brothers during a quarantine livestream in 2021. The band’s previous fully public performance of the Zoboomafoo theme came in 2018. Thursday’s unexpected setlist appearance resulted in a 14-minute version of kid’s show song.
“Burritos El Chavo 2” initiated set two and went unfinished as Eggy segued into “Atomic Age.” The seamless sequence continued with a transition into “Fly Frederick Fly” followed by a cover of The Beatles’ “I Am The Walrus.” A return to “Burritos El Chavo 2” completed the opener.
From there the group progressed through “Must Come Down.” The second set was capped with “Northern Lights” surrounding Little Feat’s “Skin It Back.” Eggy came back for the encore to deliver the show-ending “Watercolor Days.”
Eggy performs tonight, Friday, March 14, in Syracuse, New York before celebrating Purim in Toronto tomorrow, Saturday, March 15.
