Dweezil Zappa Plots Like Father Like Son Tour, Marking 20 Years of Performing Frank Zappa’s Music
The tour runs October 22 through December 5, hitting major markets across the U.S. and Canada.

Dweezil Zappa announced the Like Father, Like Son Tour, a North American run marking 20 years of Dweezil performing the music of Frank Zappa. The lengthy outing visits more than 30 cities from October 22 through December 5.
In 2006, Dweezil Zappa formed Zappa Plays Zappa, a tribute band honoring his late father. Dweezil recruited several alumnus of Frank Zappa’s bands to participate in the project’s tours. A cease-and-desist order filed by the Zappa Family Trust led Dweezil to start performing simply under his own name. The guitarist returned to the road last year for his first full-scale outing since 2020.
The Like Father, Like Son Tour kicks off October 22 in Phoenix and works its way through the Southwest, Midwest and Northeast before crossing into Canada for dates in Quebec City, Montreal and Toronto. The final stretch heads back through the Midwest and out to the West Coast, with the tour wrapping December 5 in Las Vegas.
Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, June 5.
