DVR Alert | Phish Simpsons Episode To Air On Wednesday

If you’re like us, you’ve been enjoying the start of FXX’s 12-day The Simpsons Marathon in which the cable network is showing all 552 episodes of the animated series. We want to remind our readers that “Weekend At Burnsie’s,” the 2002 episode featuring Phish will air on Wednesday morning at 8 a.m. ET.

In the episode, Dr. Hibbert prescribes Homer medical marijuana which leads to the elder Simpson attending a rally for the legalization for marijuana where Phish is a featured performer. “Weekend At Burnsie’s” originally aired on April 7, 2002. FXX is showing uncut versions of each episode as opposed to the edited versions that air in syndication.
