Dumpstaphunk To Pay Tribute To 70s Funk In NYC

New Orleans funk act Dumpstaphunk will return to The Big Apple on November 26 for a performance at BB King’s featuring an interesting twist. Dumpstaphunk will present “Phunksgiving with Dumpstaphunk 70’s tribute to Sly & The Family Stone, The Meters, P-Funk, and other throwback legends” at the NYC club on Thanksgiving Eve.

Not only will Dumpstaphunk honor the music of those ’70s funk legends during a tribute set at BB King’s, they’ll also present a set of original tunes. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.

In case you missed it, Dumpstaphunk announced a New Year’s show in New Orleans that also features The New Mastersounds and Jon Cleary.
