Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan and his solo band played an in-studio set for Seattle independent radio station KEXP. Pro-shot video of the set, which was recorded on June 17, has been shared on KEXP’s YouTube channel.

McKagan and company performed four songs from Duff’s 2019 album, Tenderness, and also covered a song by short-lived Seattle supergroup Mad Season. The set began with “Feel” and “Chip Away” from Tenderness. Next, Duff led a rendition of Mad Season’s “River Of Deceit” from their 1995 album, Above. It was then back to Tenderness for “Don’t Look Behind You” and “Cold Outside.” Duff McKagan also took a couple of opportunities to discuss his career and LP with host Kevin Cole.
