Dude of Life Band fronted by Phish collaborator Steve “The Dude Of Life” Pollak will perform at a benefit pre-party in honor of the WaterWheel Foundation’s 25th anniversary. The pre-party will go down from 4 – 6 p.m. on December 29 at Manhattan’s Hill Country, located a short walk away from Phish’s show that night at Madison Square Garden.

The WaterWheel Foundation was founded by Phish in 1997 to oversee the band’s charitable endeavors. While admission for the benefit pre-party featuring the Dude Of Life Band is free, attendees are urged to donate to WaterWheel. Those who donate will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win Phish and Dude Of Life merchandise and memorabilia.

New York City-based promoters CEG Presents is helping to organize the benefit pre-party as part of its MSG Phish After-Party Series. The run of shows surrounding Phish's New Year's Run at Madison Square Garden starts on December 28 with late-night performances by Eggy at Cutting Room and Marble Eyes at Hill Country. Prince/Bowie will play Cutting Room following the Phish show on December 29 with options for the 30th including Neighbor at Sony Hall and Dogs In A Pile at Cutting Room. Finally, Pink Talking Fish will take the Gramercy Theater stage for an afer-party on New Year’s Eve. CEG will donate $1 from each ticket sold for the series to the WaterWheel Foundation.
