Doyle Bramhall II Announces New Album ‘Shades’ & Shares Single Featuring Eric Clapton

Guitarist Doyle Bramhall II will release a new solo album entitled Shades on October 5 via Provogue/Mascot Label Group. The singer-songwriter shared the record’s lead single, “Everything You Need,” featuring renowned guitarist Eric Clapton.

Bramhall recorded Shades with a core band made up of bassist Chris Bruce, multi-instrumentalist and string arranger Adam Minkoff and drummers Carla Azar and Abe Rounds. Along with Clapton, who Bramhall has collaborated with for years, other guests on 12-track LP include Norah Jones, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Greyhounds.

“Without appearing immodest, I can admit that I’ve led a pretty charmed life,” Bramhall said. “I’m thrilled and honored to have all of these incredible people guest on my record.”
