[UPDATED] Donald Glover Releases Surprise New Album

Donald Glover released a surprise new album, potentially the first new Childish Gambino album since 2016. The untitled and uncredited new release is available to stream at DonaldGloverPresents.com

Few details about the album are confirmed, but it appears to contain 12 new tracks. Among the songs on the album are the single “Feels Like Summer,” that Childish Gambino released in 2018, as well as “Algorythm” and “Warlords” which were previously performed live by Childish Gambino last year. According to NME and other outlets, guests on the new album include 21 Savage, Ariana Grande and SZA. One of Glover’s two sons also makes an appearance.

Pitchfork noted a tweet sharing a link to DonaldGloverPresents.com was retweeted by Fam Rothstein, who manages Glover [Update: the retweet and Twitter account have been deleted]. The website streams the new music on a loop, features artwork (above) and a place to enter text for reasons that are not identified. At time of publication, the album is avialable to stream exlusively at the dedicated website.
