Don Cheadle Stars In Trailer For Miles Davis Biopic ‘Miles Ahead’

On Sunday night actor Don Cheadle will add director to his list of accomplishments when Miles Ahead premieres at the New York Film Festival. The first clip from the biopic, which stars Cheadle as Miles Davis, has been released.

Yahoo! Movies premiered the the 70-second clip which shows Miles leading his band through a recording session. Check it out:

Miles Ahead is said to focus on the iconic jazz star’s five-year hiatus from the public eye in the late ’70s. Ewan McGregor plays reporter Dave Braden and the movie details the pair’s attempts to save a recording of Miles’ latest arrangements which had been stolen. Look for a wider release of Miles Ahead in early 2016.
