Back in 2013, Dogfish Head teamed with the Grateful Dead organization to brew American Beauty, a pale ale that was made with granola and succulent wildflower honey. Yesterday, the Milton, Delaware-based brewery shared their 2019 release schedule that included the news that they will be bringing the beer back.

This time around the 6.5% ABV pale ale will be available for purchase year-round in six-pack 12-ounce bottles. Additionally, Dogfish Head has shared that they are working with Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux on a number of projects, including an immersive storytelling experience at their Rehoboth and Milton properties in early February. The first collaboration will be a beer dinner to celebrate American Beauty’s re-release at Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats in Rehoboth.
