The Disco Biscuits Reviving Tractorbeam Project For 1st Time In 5 Years

The Disco Biscuits announced their first full Tractorbeam concert in five years. The show is set to take place at the Fox Theatre in Boulder, Colorado on February 11, 2024.

Tractorbeam began as an alternate moniker for tDB in 2009. The project evolved further in 2019 with the band using Ableton Live to sync their instruments to incorporate live versions of house and disco songs into their performances. While the band has integrated Tractorbeam jams into their sets, tDB has not played a full Tractorbeam show in five years.

“One of the most exciting things about playing with the Disco Biscuits is our ability to keep things fresh, and approach new, incredible musical territory like during our Tractorbeam shows,” tDB guitarist Jon “The Barber” Gutwillig stated. “These become very real and fast moving events, fusing even more genres and songs into a nonstop dance experience.”

The new February 11 Tractorbeam date on Super Bowl Sunday at the Fox Theatre in Boulder follows Bisco’s two-night run at the Boulder Theatre February 9 and 10 as part of the 2024 Why We Dance Tour. An artist presale gets underway Wednesday, December 13 at 10 a.m. MT using the code TBEAM24. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 15 at 10 a.m. MT.
