The Disco Biscuits wrapped up their two-night Thanksgiving run at the Palace Theatre on Saturday. The Philadelphia-based band once again dug into their catalog mixing fan-favorites with a handful of rarities at the historic 2,800+ capacity venue.

The quartet opened their evening with “The Tunnel” marking just the fifth take on the track from 2002’s Señor Boombox since 2011. A dyslexic version of “Spectacle” followed with “M.E.M.P.H.I.S.” kicking off their first segue-filled run of the night. The old-school selection worked its way into their second deep cut of the set with “We Like To Party.” It was just the fourth version of the Otherwise Law Abiding Citizens tune since 2011 and 15th overall. “Rock Candy” closed out the stretch as the Biscuits delivered just the ending, completing the version from last month with “Save The Robots” bringing the opening frame to an end.

The four-piece once again looked to “Spectacle” to get the second stanza going. The dyslexic version made its way into “Spacebirdmatingcall.” “Hope” came ahead of “Reactor” that saw the jamtronica act drop an inverted take on “Crickets” in its midst before returning back to “Reactor” to put a cap on the set. “Portal To An Empty Head” occupied the encore slot as the Marc Brownstein-penned tune was played for just the seventh time since 2013.
