Disc Jam Music Festival Announces Lineup Additions

The 2016 Disc Jam Music Festival will take place at Gardner’s Farm in Stephentown, New York June 9 – 12. Today, festival organizers have announced the addition of 15 bands to the lineup as well as Artists-at-Large and a series of Road To Disc Jam shows across the Northeast.

Reggae act Dub Apocalypse featuring members of Thievery Corporation and Ed Mann of Frank Zappa’s band will perform at Disc Jam ’16 as will Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, Aqueous, West End Blend, Little War Twins, Eastbound Jesus, William Thompson Funk Experiment, Bells and Robes, Mr. Sampson, Mother Ton, Aldous Collins Band, Swimmer, Qwill, Incus, Panda Jam and Kroma Kode.

Turkuaz members Craig Brodhead (guitar), Michaelangelo Carubba (drums), Joshua Schwartz (sax), Greg Sanderson (sax), Chris Brouwers (trumpet) and Shira Elias (vocals) are aboard as Artists-at-Large for Disc Jam ’16 along with Twiddle keyboardist Ryan Dempsey, Ed Mann and Lowell Wurster.

The Road To Disc Jam concert series will span eight shows over the month of May featuring artists who will perform at the festival in June. Fans will have an opportunity to win tickets for the festival at the shows which include concerts in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York, Maryland and Vermont.

• May 7: Pink Talking Fish at Electric Haze, Worcester, MA
• May 13: Aqueous and William Thompson Funk Experiment, Penuche’s, NH
• May 13: Formula 5 with Hayley and Justin from Hayley Jane and the Primates, Woodstock, NY
• May 13: Teddy Midnight and The Jauntee at Putnam Den, Saratoga Springs, NY
• May 18: Litz and lespecial at 8X10 Club, Baltimore, MD
• May 20: Kung Fu at Higher Ground, Burlington, VT
• May 21: Kung Fu at The Sinclair, Boston, MA
