By Scott Bernstein Aug 21, 2020 7:43 am PDT

Dirty Projectors assembled remotely to perform for The Current’s Virtual Session livestream series on Thursday. The band will release five EPs in 2020 and played three songs from the first two for the Minnesota public radio station.

Mac Wilson hosted the session and spoke with members of the group about how the series of EPs came together and were recorded. Felicia Douglass was showcased on the band’s first performance, “Lose Your Love” from the Flight Tower EP. Then, Maia Friedman handled lead vocals on “Overlord” off Windows Open. Douglass, Friedman and frontman Dave Longstreth were all featured on the final song of the session, “On The Breeze,” which also appeared on Windows Open.
