Felicia’s father, renowned producer and bassist Jimmy “The Senator” Douglass, created the first reimaging of the song. Douglass has worked with some of music’s biggest names including Aretha Franklin, The Rolling Stones, JAY-Z, Led Zeppelin, Missy Elliott, Pharrell, Aaliyah and more. The second iteration comes from Douglass protege Mz Poppinz who provides a disco take on the track. Dirty Projectors also shared a remote acoustic version of the song.
