DIGITAL TAPE MACHINE LAUNCHES KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN

Digital Tape Machine, a collaboration between Kris Myers, Joel Cummins, Daniel Rucinski, Joe Hettinga, Bryan Doherty, Marcus Rezak, and David Arredondo, have announced a Kickstarter campaign to fund the completion of their debut album, Be Here Now. Check out the blog post below from Blog.Umphreys.com for more information, and click here to check out the Kickstarter campaign.

“All right Umphrey’s McGee fans, this is your chance to help make our side project Digital Tape Machine’s new album Be Here Now a reality. We’re embarking on a kickstarter campaign where you can purchase the album in about 25 different ways. We’ve created both practical & ridiculous packages that should satiate every fan’s desire. With your album purchase do you want to play golf with Kris Myers, Dan Rucinski & me? Want to do a wine tasting with a few of us & UM’s Kevin Browning? How about lessons with guitarist Marcus Rezak or a keyboard lesson with Joe Hettinga & me together? If you want to go big, you can have DJ My Boy Elroy or the ENTIRE band play your private party. Take a look at all of the options you have, from purchasing a digital version of the album to purchasing a vinyl version with lots of add ons and rarities we want to share with you. We have 32 days left to make the album a reality, and we can only do it with your help.

The new album, Be Here Now, is almost finished — we’ve put months and months of work into it to create a slamming debut of a studio album to share with the world. After nearly 30 amazing live shows together over the past 2 years, it’s time to show everyone what we can create in the studio. The songs on the album are all DTMlive staples, many of which have taken on a new life now that we’ve tackled studio versions of them. So come by and purchase the album for yourself or for a friend, spend some of that holiday gift $ on a gift that will keep on giving: DTM’s new studio album, Be Here Now. Thanks for listening & spread the word as far and wide as you know how!”
