Dead & Company Announces Summer Tour
Last fall, Dead & Company made their debut during a critically-acclaimed and hugely successful tour that took them across the country. The band features Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart joined by John Mayer, Jeff Chimenti and Oteil Burbridge. Today, Dead & Company have announced an extensive Summer Tour.
The tour begins with the group’s headlining appearance at this year’s Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee. From there, Dead & Company visits PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina June 10 before performing at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati (June 16), Klipsch Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana (June 17) and BB&T Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey (June 20). SPAC in Saratoga Springs, New York hosts Dead & Company on June 21 ahead of a performance at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia on June 23. The band will then play two nights at Citi Field in New York City June 25 and 26.
Dead & Company heads to Xfinity Theatre in Hartford June 28 before heading to Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado on July 2 and 3. The tour makes another trek to the Midwest for shows at DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan (July 7) and Alpine Valley in Elkhorn, Wisconsin (July 9 & 10). After a stop at First Niagara Pavilion in Pittsburgh (July 13), the tour is currently scheduled to conclude with a pair of shows at Boston’s Fenway Park July 15 and 16.
Tickets on sale to the general public starting Friday, February 12 at 10 a.m. local times with a presale set to begin Tuesday, February 9 at 10 a.m.
Well before the tour kicks off Dead & Company will make their television debut with an appearance on the February 18th episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as part of the show’s visit to Los Angeles.
