Dead & Company have announced a return to the road by detailing an extensive 2018 Summer Tour. The band featuring Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart along with Oteil Burbridge, Jeff Chimenti and John Mayer will head out this May and continue with shows in June and July.
Dead & Company had to cancel their remaining three shows last year when Mayer underwent an emergency appendectomy. Those shows were rescheduled for this February, following the group’s destination event in Riviera Maya, Mexico taking place earlier that month.
The 2018 D&C Summer Tour will embark on May 30 in Mansfield, Massachusetts. The band then plays two shows in Camden, New Jersey on June 1 and 2. That month will also see Dead & Company appearing in Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Raleigh, Saratoga Springs, Hartford, New Yor City (two shows), Darien Lake and Cuyahoga Falls. Alpine Valley in East Troy, Wisconsin will welcome Dead & Company for shows on June 22 and 23 and then the band heads west to the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington before heading to Eugene, Oregon to round out the month.
