Daze Between New Orleans 2025 Details Lineup & New Venue

The historic Mahalia Jackson Theater will host the two-day event April 29 – 30, 2025 in between Jazz Fest weekends.

Daze Between New Orleans will be held on April 29 and 30, 2025 between weekends of Jazz Fest with a focus on collaborations. Organizers Live For Live Music, GMP Live, Purple Hat Productions and Dayglo Presents announced the lineup for the fourth annual event, which will take place at its new home of the Mahalia Jackson Theater.

The action starts on Tuesday, April 29 with performances from Umphrey’s McGee, moe. and lespecial. UM will be joined by drummer Jason Bonham for a Led Zeppelin tribute set and by trumpeter/vocalist Jennifer Hartswick and saxophonist Jeff Coffin for an original set, while the Dumpstaphunk Horns (Alex Wasily, Ashlin Parker and Brad Walker) will guest with moe. and saxophonist Skerik will perform with lespecial.

The Allman Betts Band will present a “New Orleans Family Revival” on Wednesday, April 30 at Daze Between New Orleans with special guests George Porter Jr., Ivan Neville, Eric Krasno, Sierra Green, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band Horns and more. Wednesday at Daze Between will also feature a “GEOLEO” performance celebrating the music of The Meters that will see original band members bassist George Porter Jr. and guitarist Leo Nocentelli team with keyboardist Ivan Neville and drummer Stanton Moore. Additionally, The Headhunters will perform a set with special guests Eric Krasno and Weedie Braimah.

“We’re excited for this new iteration of Daze Between Festival this year,” moted Live For Live Music’s Kunj Shah. “The lineup is on point and every set will be completely unique to the event with special guests and collaborations that will make NOLA proud.”
