David Gilmour Teases New Album ‘Rattle That Lock’

One of the most anticipated albums of the fall in the classic rock world is guitarist David Gilmour’s long awaited follow up to 2006’s On An Island. Last month we learned a few details about the LP including its name –Rattle That Lock. Today, Gilmour has shared a taste of the album on his website.

Here’s the short clip of “Rattle That Lock” which Gilmour posted on his website:

The Pink Floyd guitarist is expected to appear on BBC2’s The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on on Friday morning, when we’d imagine he’ll share more details about Rattle That Lock and perhaps play its title track.

David Gilmour embarks on his first tour in nine years this September.

So it looks like we’ll find out more about Rattle That Lock tomorrow. Also, Gilmour’s wife and songwriting partner Polly Samson has confirmed the title track will debut on BBC2 Friday morning:
