David Byrne & Brooklyn Youth Chorus Perform On ‘Kimmel’

David Byrne and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus performed “One Fine Day” on Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The late-night talk show is on location this week at the Brooklyn Academy Of Music.

Byrne is currently performing a run on Broadway of his David Byrne’s American Utopia. The show is based on the stage production of Byrne’s tour in support of his 2018 solo album American Utopia. Nonesuch Records recently issued the original Broadway cast recording that mixes songs from the album, additional solo material and Talking Heads classics.

“One Fine Day,” which appears in the stage production and on the cast recording, was recorded for Byrne’s 2008 collaborative album with Brian Eno, Everything That Happens Will Happen Today. Watch Byrne and members of the Brooklyn Youth Chorus performing “One Fine Day” on Jimmy Kimmel Live below:
