Composer Jherek Bischoff teamed up with David Byrne in early 2013 to create the orchestral piece “Eyes” for his album Composed. On Wednesday, Byrne joined Bischoff and his orchestra onstage at St. Ann’s Warehouse in Brooklyn, NY.

With interludes of comical banter between Bischoff and Byrne, the duo explored tunes from various walks of Byrne’s career. The setlist included: “Strange Overtones” -Byrne and Brian Eno’s lead single off the album Everything That Happens Will Happen Today circa 2008, the Taking Heads classic “And She Was” off of Little Creatures and the Bischoff/Byrne original “holiday song” titled “The Fat Man’s Comin’.”

The two-night run at St. Ann’s Warehouse also included guest appearances by Zola Jesus, Sondre Lerche and Mirah.
