Dave Matthews Band Revives ‘Again & Again’ In Gilford
On Tuesday, Dave Matthews Band played the first of two shows at the Bank Of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire. DMB kicked off the concert with the tour debut of “Again & Again,” a song from the group’s recently released Come Tomorrow studio album.
“Again & Again” was first performed by Dave Matthews Band at a show celebrating their 25th anniversary on May 7, 2016 in Charlottesville, Virginia. Matthews mentioned the song didn’t have a title, so fans referred to the tune by the name listed on the evening’s printed setlist: “Bob Law.” The version of “Again & Again” on Come Tomorrow features backing vocalists, horns, a percussionist and a full string section. DMB had last performed “Again & Again” live back on September 2, 2016 at The Gorge.
Last night’s show included an 18-song main set and encore of “Sister” and “Pantala Naga Pampa.” The main set featured the tour’s second versions of “So Right,” “Gravedigger,” “Cornbread,” “So Much To Say” and “Save Me.” Dave performed “Sister” with a paired down lineup that saw him backed by Carter Beauford, Rashawn Ross and Tim Reynolds.
Dave Matthews Band returns to Gilford tonight. As reported, the band’s Saturday night show in Camden will be webcast free-of-charge.
