Oteil Burbridge Joins Dave Matthews Band In Florida

Dave Matthews Band swung through Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida on Saturday night where they welcomed bassist Oteil Burbridge. Burbridge last played with the band 26 years ago to the day on July 27, 1993. DMB also busted out “I’ll Back You Up” for the first time since 2015=.
Matthews and the band kicked things off with “One Sweet World” followed by a continuous block of “Two Step,” “Anyone Seen The Bridge” and “Too Much.” “Do You Remember” got a run of one-offs underway including “Crush,” “Again And Again,” “Satellite,” “The Stone,” “Everyday” and “I’ll Back You Up.”
Then, “Jimi Thing” led into a cover mashup of Prince’s “Sexy M.F.,” AC/DC’s “Back In Black” the Bee Gees’ “Stayin’ Alive” and “Fly Like An Eagle” from Steve Miller Band. DMB got back into original material with “Joyride,” “Come Tomorrow” and “She” before welcoming Burbridge for “#41.” “Shake Me Like A Monkey” followed ahead of “Stay Or Leave” and the set closer, “Stay (Wasting Time).”
