Dave Matthews Band will require proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours at all shows of their 2021 tour starting on August 21 with a few exceptions. The new protocols are laid out on the band’s website and social feeds.
Ticketholders attending multiple shows at the same venue using a negative test for entry will not need to provide additional test results for subsequent concerts. Additionally, children under the age of 12 can attend DMB shows after displaying proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours of entry.

“We encourage all fans to wear a mask, especially when social distancing is not possible. Specific venue websites will be updated shortly with updated protocols,” wrote Dave Matthews Band in the statement announcing the new procedures. “Dave Matthews Band is grateful to be back out on the road playing live music again. We are a fully vaccinated band and touring crew. Let’s keep each other safe; please join us in getting vaccinated!”
Negative test results will not be accepted for entry at Dave Matthews Band’s upcoming shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City and Fiddler’s Green in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Look for the group to announce guidelines for performances in Durant, Oklahoma and Columbus, Ohio soon.
