Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl & Greg Kurstin Cover Bob Dylan For ‘Hanukkah Sessions’

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and producer Greg Kurstin covered a Bob Dylan classic for the fifth installment of their The Hanukkah Sessions video series. The pair recorded a rendition of Dylan’s “Rainy Day Women #12 & 35.”

Bob Dylan originally released “Rainy Day Women #12 & #35” as the opening track of his 1966 album, Blonde On Blonde. “So now everybody must get stoned (not in the Law of Moses sense) as we put some blood on this track: Rainy Day Women 12&35 by the immortal Bob Dylan,” reads a note accompanying the cover.

The Hanukkah Sessions features Grohl and Kurstin rolling out a video featuring a cover of a song by a famous Jewish artist for each night of Hanukkah. Dave plays drums and sings “Rainy Day Women #12 & #35,” while Kurstin adds piano and harmonica to the mix.
