TennesSEEan: Daniel Donato Confirms Opry Debut & Camp Cosmic 2025

Daniel Donato will cross another item off his bucket list on Saturday, August 24 when he makes his debut at the historic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. The guitarist also announced Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country will return to subterranean venue The Caverns on April 11 and 12, 2025 for the second annual Camp Cosmic concerts.

The iconic Grand Ole Opry started as a radio broadcast in 1925 and the enduring institution will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year. Donato will perform at The Opry’s current home at the Grand Ole Opry House on August 24. The Nashville resident is part of a bill with Sister Sadie and Opry member Bill Anderson.

“I am thrilled to announce that the day has arrived to pick and sing in one of the most Cosmic events and traditions our world has ever witnessed,” Donato wrote on social media in heralding his Opry debut. Tickets can be obtained via AXS.

Donato and his band Cosmic Country presented the inaugural Camp Cosmic event earlier this year on 4/20 at The Caverns. Camp Cosmic has been expanded to two nights of music and camping for the second outing at the underground venue in Tennessee’s Grundy County. “You’re invited to the second Camp Cosmic in 2025, a high frequency experience for two nights here in my home state of Tennessee,” stated Daniel Donato on social media. Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country will play four cave sets with “special guests” promised.
