Cutting Room To Host The James Brown Dance Party

On January 31, NYC’s Cutting Room will host a performance dubbed “The James Brown Dance Party” featuring “the funkiest all-star tribute in show business.” The band organizers have arranged to perform includes members of Kung Fu, TAB, Deep Banana Blackout, Dopapod, Snarky Puppy and more. 
The lineup for “The James Brown Dance Party” features drummer Jeff Sipe (Leftover Salmon, ARU, Phil Lesh & Friends), keyboardist Todd Stoops (Kung Fu, RAQ), trumpeter/vocalist Jennifer Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band), bassist Chuck Jones (Dopapod) plus Chris Bullock of Snarky Puppy, Kung Fu’s Rob Somerville, Strange Design’s Adam & Matt Chase, Rob Volo of Deep Banana Blackout and Laura Reed.
