New York City-based alt-pop group Cults took time while on tour in Seattle to stop by KEXP and perform a live session for the independent radio station. The band performed songs from their recently released fifth album, To The Ghosts.
Led by multi-instrumentalists Madeline Follin and Brian Oblivion, Cults mimicked the To The Ghosts beginning sequence to start their KEXP session. Following the tracklist, album opener “Crybaby” launched the session, followed by “Left My Keys” and “Onions.” Fittingly, the album’s closing track, “Hung The Moon,” was the final song Cults played at KEXP.

KEXP DJ Troy Nelson helmed a mid-set interview with Follin and Oblivion. Follin played guitar and Oblivion keyboards, while backed by a rhythm section composed of bassist Max Kamins and drummer John Eatherly.
