Culkin Forms Pizza-Themed Velvet Underground Tribute Band

Actor Macaulay Culkin may be best known for his roles in the Home Alone movies and My Girl, but he’s hoping to make waves in the music and uh…pizza worlds with his new band –The Pizza Underground. Mac and East Village musicians Matt Colbourn, Phoebe Kreutz, Deenah Vollmer and Austin Kilham adapt The Velvet Underground songs with a pizza theme.

The band has shared a demo, which is a nine-song medley that melds “I’m Waiting For The Delivery Man,” “Pizza Day” and other pizza-themed Velvet Underground adaptions. Take a listen:
