Cover Alert | ALO & Fruition Tackle Eurythmics 80s Hit At High Sierra
By Scott Bernstein Jul 8, 2015 • 10:30 am PDT

ALO’s late night performance had a “Dreams” theme and both started and closed with covers of Gary Wright’s one-hit wonder “Dream Weaver.” One of the highlights from ALO’s late night set was the band’s rendition of the ’80s classic “Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)” by Eurythmics. ALO was joined by Fruition’s Mimi Naja, Jay Cobb Anderson and Kellen Asebroek for the synth’d out cover. Our friends at Deadheadland captured “Sweet Dreams” for our viewing pleasure:
ALO was joined by other guests throughout the set including percussionist Ezra Lipp, vocalist Jennifer Hartswick and keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth as well as Midnight North who helped out on “California Dreamin’.”
