Watch Kurt Vile Help Courtney Barnett Get ‘Over Everything’ At Just Like Heaven
Vile dropped in on Barnett’s set Saturday at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

Courtney Barnett brought out her longtime friend and collaborator Kurt Vile during her set Saturday at the Just Like Heaven Festival. Vile, who was not on the event’s lineup, joined Barnett on their song “Over Everything” in front of the crowd at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
Vile previewed his sit-in during his appearance last week on Tim Heidecker’s Office Hours podcast. Along with Barnett, Vile was excited to see many performers on the Just Like Heaven, naming Panda Bear, Slowdive and Vampire Weekend among those he was looking forward to watching.
The guitarist followed through on his tip to Heidecker and accompanied Barnett on the song from their 2017 joint album, Lotta Sea Lice.
