This year to celebrate the Grateful Dead’s 50th anniversary, Phil Lesh is performing a series of Phil Lesh & Friends shows at his Terrapin Crossroads venue in San Rafael for each of the years the band was in action. Tonight the Grateful Dead bassist takes a break from his tributes to each year for the first of two Phil Lesh & Friends Fare Thee Well Pre-Compression parties at Terrapin Crossroads. If you can’t make it to Terrapin in person, there’s an option watch from home.

Terrapin Crossroads is offering a Pay-Per-View webcast of this evening’s performance for $7. Lesh and his band -which features guitarists Neal Casal, multi-instrumentalist Jon Graboff, keyboardist Adam MacDougall and drummers Ezra Lipp and Alex Koford -are expected to take the stage around 8 p.m. PT.
