FIRST EVER WEBCAST FOR FESTIVAL

When it rains it pours, we just received the news that Phish will webcast its upcoming run of shows in Chicago, and for those looking to double up on their webcast experience next weekend, you are going to have some options. The 12th Annual Northwest String Summit announced, for the first time ever, it would provide a paid webcast July 18 – 21 from Horning’s Hideout in North Plains, OR. With the promise of over 40 hours form NWSS, there certainly is enough Couch Tour time to go around.
In a press release, festival promoters stated, “Bringing you all the magic into your living room from the Main Stage is Stumptown Bliss. Stumptown Bliss is made up of professional camera operators, directors, artist, producers, system engineers, and broadcast engineers, with decades of experiences and a love for music. It is this love of music along with their video experience that brings together a great team of people focused on providing a high quality virtual experience.
Stumptown Bliss will provide exclusive multi camera HD footage from the front row, on stage, crowd, and behind the scenes. “We look forward to bringing all of Yonder Mountain String Band fans a live experience of this wonderful event,” states co-founder Josh Orchard.”
The weekend pass for the webcast for Northwest String Summit will be $25 with daily rates also available.. Artists slated to perform at the festival include: Yonder Mountain String Band, Leftover Salmon, Keller and The Keels, David Grisman Bluegrass Experience, Greensky Bluegrass, Black Prairie (featuring members of The Decemberists), Danny Barnes, Darol Anger, Deadly Gentlemen, Head for the Hills, Larry & Jenny: The Keels, Poor Man’s Whiskey performing Dark Side of the Moonshine with guest artist Allie Kral of Cornmeal, Milkdrive, Polecat, Brothers Comatose, Iron Horse – Pickin’ On Modest Mouse, The Congress and Pimps of Joytime.
