Con Brio Shares New Single ‘Body Language’

Bay Area-based Con Brio will release their new album Explorer on July 6 through Transistor Sound. The septet shared the latest track from their sophomore LP, the single “Body Language.”

The 11-track new album was informed by the extensive touring Con Brio did in support of their 2016 debut release Paradise. Frontman Ziek McCarter shared the following regarding “Body Language”:

During this window we were home, love was definitely in the air. It felt like the epitome of “Time of the Season” by The Zombies; we were all back with our ladies and loved ones. Taking nature trips and spending quality time together. It felt amazing … When writing this song, I suppose we just wanted to channel honest love and appreciation for physical affection through the music. Something smooth and therapeutic.

Taking inspiration from Anderson Paak’s album Venice and NxWorries project, Usher’s album Hard to Love and Frank Ocean’s Blonde, McCarter went into deep detail on the origins of “Body Language” for Consequence Of Sound, which premiered the track. Give a listen below:
