Collier And Rodgers Sit In With Widespread Panic In Miami

Last night Widespread Panic’s Fall Tour rolled into South Florida for a performance at the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater. Bobby Lee Rodgers and Roosevelt Collier opened the festivities before Panic’s two sets and then both artists joined Widespread for a cover of JJ Cale’s “Ride Me High” in the encore slot.

Bobby and Roosevelt also performed after the show at the venue’s smaller “Backstage” music room as the tunes continued until approximately 1 a.m. Panic tour moves on to Jacksonville, FL tonight for a performance at the Moran Theatre. Collier has a show of his own close by at the Underbelly featuring his trio and special guest JJ Grey. Roosevelt’s set is scheduled to start at 11:30 p.m., so we’ll see if he sits in with Panic again this evening.
