Coldplay officially announced a new album, Everyday Life, due out on November 22 via Atlantic Records. The new effort is a double LP with one record titled “Sunrise” and the other “Sunset.” The band also shared two singles, “Arabesque” and “Orphans.”
The band had previously sent a cryptic letter to fans alerting them of Everyday Day:
dear friends / my typing isn’t very good i’m sorry / I and we hope wherever you are you’re ok / for the last 100 years or thereabouts we have been working on a thing called Everyday Life / in the classifieds you might write ‘double album for sale, one very careful owner’ / one half is called ‘sunrise’, the other ‘sunset’ / it comes out 22 november / it is sort of how we feel about things / we send much love to you from hibernation /سلام و حب / chris, jonny, guy and Will Champion, esq.
Everyday Life is Coldplay’s first studio album in four years and the follow-up to 2015’s A Head Full Of Dreams. The Everyday Life lead singles both arrived with videos. “Orphans” received the traditional music video treatment while “Arabesque” came accompanied by a lyric visual. Check out both below:
