Coldplay will release the long-awaited follow-up to 2015’s A Head Full Of Dreams on November 22. Teasers for what appears to be a double album entitled Everyday Life appeared in cities worldwide and the BBC reports some of the band’s fans received a letter about the release penned by the members of the band.
“for the last 100 years or thereabots we have been working on a thing called Everyday Life,” stated the band as part of a typed letter sent to fans. “in the classifieds you might write ‘double album for sale, one very careful owner.’ one half is called ‘sunrise,’ the other ‘sunset.'” The letter then mentioned the release date of “22 november” before finishing with, “it is sort of how we feel about things. We send much love to you from hibernation.”
