Circles Around The Sun Release ‘Interludes: The Complete Set-Break Recordings’

Circles Around The Sun will release Interludes: The Complete Set-Break Recordings via Bandcamp. The recordings come from the five hours of music the late Neal Casal and CATS created for set break music during the Grateful Dead’s 2015 Fare Thee Well concerts.
The intermission music for the Fare Thee Well shows — two at the Bay Area’s Levi’s Stadium and three at Chicago’s Soldier Field (the Chicago shows are streaming this 4th of July weekend in celebration of the five year anniversary) — marked the dawn of Circles Around The Sun and would eventually become their debut LP, Interludes for the Dead. The new collection contains “never before released tracks, previously unheard music, alternate and extended mixes and studio banter,” as per CATS’ Bandcamp.
