Chris Stapleton Performs ‘When I’m With You’ On ‘Fallon’

Chris Stapleton recruited his full band to back him for a remote appearance on Wednesday’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Stapleton led the group through the reflective “When I’m With You.”

“When I’m With You” is the fourth of 14 tracks on the country star’s 2020 album, Starting Over. Chris’ wife, Morgane Stapleton provided gorgeous harmony vocals on both the studio version of the ballad as well as the rendition that aired on Fallon.

Starting Over, Stapleton’s fourth album, was recorded at RCA Studio A in Nashville with producer Dave Cobb. Additional work was completed at Muscle Shoals Sound and Compass Sound Studios.
