Chris Robinson Curates Spotify Playlist For YETI Coolers

Each week premium cooler manufacturer YETI enlists musicians to curate a Spotify Playlist. The latest installment in the series features a set of 26 songs selected by Chris Robinson.

The frontman of the Chris Robinson Brotherhood pulled together a diverse collection of tracks from a varied range of genres. Robinson bypassed contemporary songs, instead choosing established songs by legendary recording artists.

Robinson selected several tracks by some of the pioneers of rock ‘n’ roll, including Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Buddy Holly and Jerry Lee Lewis. R&B, soul and funk is represented with cuts by Sam & Dave, Otis Redding, Sly & The Family Stone and Funkadelic. Robinson’s psychedelic and classic rock choices included Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers Band, The Rolling Stones, John Mayall, The Byrds, The Flying Burrito Brothers, MC5, Hawkwind, Gong and Humble Pie. Singer-songwriters Bob Dylan, Leon Russell and Waylon Jennings each have a song within the set as well.

A pair of tracks covered by The CRB were featured as Robinson selected “Last Lonely Eagle” by New Riders of the Purple Sage and “I’ve Got Love If You Want It” by Slim Harpo. Stream Chris’ Spotify Playlist via YETI below:
