Labor Day Weekend signals the end of summer each year, as students and teachers go back to school, Dave Matthew Band plays The Gorge and Phish takes over Dick’s. This year, The Chris Robinson Brotherhood put together a Working Man’s Labor Days Spotify Playlist to soundtrack whatever festivities you have planned as the calendar turns from August to September.

The CRB shared the playlist with a note that reads, “From our turntable, to yer Spotify…a Working Man’s Labor Days playlist for y’all out there putting hammer to nail in #FreakAmerica.”

The set features noted Americana-leaning singer-songwriters such as Gram Parsons, Townes Van Zandt, J.J. Cale, Jerry Jeff Walker, Doug Sahm, Roger McGuinn, Kris Kristofferson and more. There are plenty of legendary country musicians such as Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Merle Haggard and Buck Owens as well as iconic vocalists like Dusty Springfield and Bobbie Gentry. Also making the playlist are classic rock acts like Neil Young, The Rolling Stones, Little Feat, The Byrds, The Flying Burrito Brothers and many others. Give it a spin below:
