BAY AREA’S CHRIS HAUGEN JOINS POOR MAN’S WHISKEY

Chris Haugen
Poor Man’s Whiskey has issued the following statement:

“We are super excited to announce that Bay Area guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Chris Haugen has joined PMW for the remainder of 2012. He has been a staple in the music scene for more than 2 decades and has played with everyone under the sun. Chris co-founded and performed with Jambay through the 90s, and played lead guitar with Melvin Seals from 2001-2003. In 2007 he played on the “Into the Wild” film score (director Sean Penn). Chris’ solo record Seahorse Rodeo (buy it here) has met with critical acclaim, and he also continues to collaborate and do sessions with many many favorites from the Bay Area and beyond.

To sum it up, we could not be more fired up to spend some time with Chris in the guitar position opposite Jason Beard! Be sure to come check him out for his first PMW performance at The Ukiah Brewing Company on May 12, 2012, in Ukiah, CA. It is a short 2 hour trip north from San Francisco along the scenic 101 into Redwood Country…well worth the short trip! You can buy tickets here.

You can check out Chris at his website: http://www.chrishaugen.net. You can purchase his latest solo album here.”
