Carl Broemel & Dave Simonett Announce Joint Fall Tour

My Morning Jacket guitarist Carl Broemel and Trampled By Turtles guitarist Dave Simonett have announced a joint tour. The co-bills are set to take place during a 10-date run together in November.

The pair of guitarists will head out together on November 10 at Cat’s Back Room in Carrboro, North Carolina. From there they’ll stop in Charlottesville, Virginia on November 11, New York City on November 12 and Philadelphia on November 13. After a night off, the MMJ and TBT pair will perform on November 13 in Columbus, Ohio, ahead of two nights in Michigan on November 16 in Ann Arbor and November 17 in Grand Rapids.

The tour continues with a swing through Evanston, Illinois on November 18, Cincinnati on November 19 and a final night together on November 20 in Indianapolis at Hi-Fi. Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday, August 19 at 10 a.m. local time, the same day as the release of Broemel’s new solo album 4th Of July.
