Jamgrass act Yonder Mountain String Band continued this year’s fall tour on Thursday night at Jupiter Hall in Albany. The five-piece band played a strong two-hour set of their rock-infused bluegrass to a packed crowd of Kinfolk. With only one cover on the night – the final song of the evening was Yonder’s take on “Holland, 1945” by Neutral Milk Hotel – the focus was on long jams and original songs. Each member’s hands never seemed to stop playing their respective instrument, as they constantly wowed the crowd and made them hoot and holler in appreciation.
