Greensky Bluegrass Postpones Camp Greensky To 2022
Greensky Bluegrass announced Camp Greensky 2021 has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The music festival headlined and curated by GSBG will return to the Hoxeyville Festival Site in Wellston, Michigan June 2 – 4, 2022.
Last April, the jamgrass quintet canceled Camp Greensky 2020 and announced the 2021 dates. This year’s event was supposed to take place June 3 – 5, 2021.
Camp Greensky organizers released a statement about their decision:
We’re heartbroken to report that due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic Camp Greensky Music Festival is now postponed to June 2-4, 2022. We were patient and hopeful that we could make some magic happen this June but it’s just not in the cards to present the festival we all know and love in the current circumstances. We’re grateful for all of your understanding and patience as we all work towards some kind of “New Normal.”
For those unable to join us next year, please reach out to email@example.com before March 22.
This is the longest window Greensky Bluegrass has spent since becoming a band without performing in our home state and, while it won’t be Camp Greensky, we’re excited to be working with our friends Greensky Bluegrass to find a way to play some music for you later this summer. Stay tuned!
Thanks for your ongoing support.
The inaugural Camp Greensky was held in 2018 and the festival returned in 2019. Billy Strings, Lettuce and The Infamous Stringdusters were among the acts slated to join Greensky Bluegrass in performing at Camp Greensky 2020.
