Built To Spill Performs Studio Session For The Current

Built to Spill delivered a performance for Minnesota public radio station The Current’s studio session series. The band led by guitarist Doug Martsch offered a song from their recently released album, When The Wind Forgets Your Name, as well as a tune from the 2006 LP, You In Reverse.

Joining Martsch for the performance was current touring BtS rhythm section of bassist Melanie Radford and drummer Teresa Esguerra. Martsch led the group through When The Wind Forgets Your Name cut “Fool’s Gold” to get the public radio play underway. Doug then took it back to 2006 with the You In Reverse track “Conventional Wisdom.” The trio also sat dwon for a chat with host Mac Wilson.
