Watch Bruce Hornsby Perform Rediscovered Song ‘Living In The Sunshine’ Live

Bruce Hornsby released an official live video for “Living In The Sunshine.” The catchy tune with the classic Hornsby sound is featured on the upcoming 25th anniversary reissue of his classic 1998 double album Spirit Trail.

“Living In The Sunshine” is one of four previously unreleased Lost And Found On The Spirit Trail songs included as part of the Spirit Trail 25th Anniversary Edition, which is due out on October 27 via Zappo Productions/Thirty Tigers. The set will be released digitally and as 3-CD and 3-LP editions.

Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers debuted “Living In The Sunshine” live in public on Friday, the same day the “lost” studio track was released. However, the live rendition featured in the new video was filmed during the group’s rehearsal at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine back on June 30.

Both fiddler John Mailander and guitarist Gibb Droll took intense solos followed by a screaming organ run by John J.T. Thomas. Bruce Hornsby is in fine voice throughout.
