Each June for the past three years, legendary pianist Bruce Hornsby hosted, curated and headlined the Funhouse Fest at the Lawn Of The Art Museums Of Colonial Williamsburg in Williamsburg, Virginia. Hornsby and co-organizers the Virginia Arts Festival announced the event is going on hiatus in 2019.

“After three great years in Williamsburg, we have decided to put Funhouse Fest on hiatus in 2019. We’re grateful to everyone at the Virginia Arts Festival, the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, the city of Williamsburg, the artists, the vendors and especially all the fans who joined to help us create so many memories together,” reads a note on the event’s website. “Bruce will spend the new year dedicating himself to some ambitious new projects while our friends at Virginia Arts Festival will continue to bring exciting performances to Colonial Williamsburg this summer. We can’t thank you enough for all your support and look forward to sharing updates with you soon!” Previous performers include Greensky Bluegrass, Railroad Earth, Hiss Golden Messenger, Lake Street Dive, Amos Lee and Alison Krauss.
